
From October, 9th to 13th, 2013, BAI delegation of six people led by Vice President Zhang Ning visited the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration, Ukraine National Academy of Public Administration (hereinafter referred to as Odessa Regional Institute). During the visit, the two signed MOU successfully.
Upon our arrival, BAI delegation visited Ukraine National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) accompanied by Director Mykola M. Izha. Then a round-table conference was held where Zhang Ning delivered a keynote speech under the title of “the training system of Chinese civil servants and the training work of BAI”.
On October, 12th, the two sides hosted a signing ceremony. Ms. Wu Xiaoying, the Consul-General of Chinese Consulate-General to Odessa, was also present and praised the ceremony as boosting the development of China-Ukraine relationship and representing a new level of China-Europe strategic partnership.
Odessa Regional Institute was established in 1995. As one of the four institutions of higher education that nurture high-caliber management talents in Ukraine, it provides management persons to Republic of Crimea, Vinnytsia, Nikolayev, Odessa, Kherson and Sevastopol. Many high-level leaders from the southern states of Ukraine were graduated from this institute. It has ten teaching and research departments, including national and regional management, regional policies, European integration, financial and economic policies, organizational administration, project management and law. In total, now the institute has 250 staff members, including 112 teachers, and over 2000 students.
