From April 15^th to April 26^th, 2013, delegation from Swedish Institute for Public Administration (SIPU) visited to China Academy of Governance (CAG), Beijing Administrative College (BAI) and several other province-level administrative colleges and institutes. Authorized by CAG, BAI organized a series of events for SIPU delegation, which included Director of Training Programs Mr. Josua Falck and Senior Consultant Tim Greenhow.

On April 15^th, Mr. Falck was formally received by Professor Liang Jun, on behalf of Vice Executive President, Mr. Wang Minzhong. Both parties held discussions on potential cooperation in public service sector training, visiting faculty programs, consultancy and co-research on certain areas. Both sides expressed strong desires for collaborations and formal connection was thus established.

In order to help SIPU understand better the cadre training system in China and the needs of local provincial level administrative colleges and institutes, BAI executed a detailed schedule for SIPU delegation to visit Chongqing and Heilongjiang Administrative Institute from April 16^th to 20^th, and helped arrange lectures on Training of Trainers (ToT) for their faculties. To facilitate and upgrade language communications, BAI sent Mr. Chen Cong, one of its faculties from the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange, to accompany them to the above institutes. Meanwhile, Mr. Chen provided interpretation service in relevant meetings, discussions and formal lectures on ToT. The arrangements and services provided by BAI were highly recognized by SIPU.

To conclude the visit, Mr. Tim Greenhow also gave his lecture on ToT for BAI’s faculties coming from the departments of cadre training and postgraduates. His lecture was fully comprehended and echoed by the audience with heated discussions on steps of designing, running and evaluating a training program for the trainers.
