Recently, a Vietnamese delegation from Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration Area I (abbreviated to “Area I” below) headed by president Ngo Ngoc Thang visited BAI. Executive vice-president Wang Jiangyu of BAI received the delegation.

Mr. Wang pointed out that this visit was a milestone, indicating the cooperation between the two colleges had reached to a new high level, and this was Area I’ s first visit after Prof. Dr. NGUYEN CUC and Dr. Doan Hung. Mr. Wang introduced BAI’s teaching system and scale, training objectives and the trainees, as well as training methods and schedules. In particular, Mr. Wang introduced the newest developments of BAI in recent years. In response, Mr. Ngo Ngoc Thang briefly introduced the characteristics of training for leaders and officials in Vietnam and the main tasks of Area I in education, training and scientific research.

Gift exchange
Both sides had a deep communication for their future cooperation, and discussed the issue of inviting scholars from BAI to attend the international academic seminar, which would be held in Vietnam in the second half of this year. They also had academic discussions on topics such as the economic development and outlook of the two countries, the content and method of the teaching of philosophy etc. Both sides also agreed that the relationship between the two colleges had already entered into a new period, and the communications and discussions were of great significance to both colleges. Besides, they also agreed to enhance the academic cooperation and exchange in the future.
