Recently, Com. Phouvong OUNKHAMSEN from Science and Social Dept. of the National Political and Administrative College of Laos (NPAC) visited BAI with 7 other members. Ms. Liu Yang, vice president of BAI received the delegation and held an informal discussion with them. Ms Zheng Hong, deputy director general of Foreign Affairs Office of Party School of the Central Government of CPC, Prof. Zhou Chunming, director of Dean’s division and Mr. Liang Jun, director of Dept. of International Cooperation and Exchange participated in the discussion.

The main purpose of this visit is to learn our successful experience in the education and training of civil servants and elites in researching and teaching. Ms Liu generally introduced BAI’ s structure in teachers and human resources, training aims, arrangement of classes and courses and source of budget. She specially introduced BAI’s theory and practice in enhancing the construction of a team of young and middle aged teachers.

On behalf of his delegation, Com. Phouvong OUNKHAMSEN expressed his sincere thanks to Ms Liu’s reception and introduction. He admitted NPAC had a lot of similarities with BAI in terms of organization, content and method of training. He sincerely hopes to deepen mutual contact and exchange with BAI to learn each others good merits for common progress.
