Vice president Yao Guangye met with professors from Uppsala University after their participation of the academic seminar in Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Professor Liang Jun, the director of department of international cooperation and exchanges, also attended the working meeting.

        Mr. Yao reviewed the Seminar and gave positive evaluation about it. He pointed out that the success of the seminar relied on four aspects as follows: Firstly, the appropriate chosen topics allowed scholars and experts to exchange their views on Government Reform and Innovation, and sharing their ideas together; Secondly, the full preparation of the authors and the examiners provided many valuable opinions about every work; Thirdly, the adoption of ‘European-style’ mode of discussion offered opportunities for the author, the examiners as well as participants to express their perspective openly; Lastly, the excellent organization from the host made the conference so successful. The participants attended the seminar were professors and experts from Uppsala University, Sichuan Administrative College, the Capital University of Economics and Business and BAI.

        The representative from Uppsala University said they agreed with President Yao’s conclusion and also exchanged their ideas about the conference. In the end, both sides talked about the issues regarding next seminar, including possible topics, scale, mode and other support service.
