On March 21st, Executive Vice President of BAI Wang Jiangyu met with visiting Russian guest Mikhail Titarenko, chairman of the Russia-China Friendship Association and an academician and the director of the Far East Institute at the Russian Academy of Sciences.
During the meeting, Mr. Titarenko briefed on Russia’s current social and economic situation and talked about the recent structural adjustment and personnel shake-up of the Far East Institute, while Wang elaborated on macroeconomic regulation, CPC’s leadership and party building, as well as issues concerning agriculture, farmers and rural areas, and the integration of urban and rural areas.
Titarenko was on a goodwill visit to China at the invitation of the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee. He paid a special visit to BAI during the weekend.
