On the morning of April 29th, a delegation led by President John McCourt from the University of Macerata, Italy visited ourinstitute. Vice President Li Yunchi received the delegation.

Introductions of the two schools were made and the two sides looked back on previous friendship and cooperation. Agreement was reached that further cooperation should be pushed forward,including the signing of MoU, sending delegations and scholars to each others'schools, sending postgraduates on summer camps as well as organizing seminars and carrying out joint research on Matteo Ricci and cultural exchange.

The meeting was followed by a visit to the Chala Cemetery, where Assistant Professor Chen Xinyu shared her knowledge on the history of the cemetery andsurrounding ancient buildings.
