BAI Vice president Han Jiugen who headed a delegation with six people has visited Italy and Germany from June 25 to July 2, 2017.

During their stay in Italy, on behalf of our institute, Han Jiugen signed MOU with Cafoscari University of Venice. The delegates exchanged their views with the professors of the Economics Department and the Department of Public administration from Cafoscari University of Venice on some issues, such as the protection of the historical towns, the ecological environment protection, and the urban refined management. It laid a sound foundation for future substantial cooperation of both sides.

During their stay in Germany, Han Jiugen met the head of Human Resources Department of the Interior Ministry North Rhine-Westphalia and the Vice President of the FHOV North Rhine-Westphalia. He summarized the experience of the fifteen years’ cooperation with the German side. Han Jiugen also met the senator of the State Council of North Rhine-Westphalia, the vice mayor of Munster, and the vice mayor of Cologne. Han introduced BAI’s scientific research. Both sides conducted a deep communication for future cooperation.

During their stay in Germany, the delegation carried out some academic lectures on the themes of “Reform and Innovation on Community Management System in Beijing”, “Research on the Reform of Urban Management Law Enforcement System in Beijing”, “Spatial Allocation of Public Service Resources and Its Optimization of Beijing”, “the Historical Change and Optimal Adjustment of Beijing’s Functional Orientation”. They received recognition and praise from the German side.
