Function

The Department of International Exchange & Cooperation of BAC was founded in 1997. It is also known as the center of academic exchanges for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The department is a functional unit for overseas affairs under the direct supervision of the president of BAC.
The main responsibilities of the department are:
1.Arrange officiaI visit to foreign countries and to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan for faculty of BAC and its branches;
2.Receive overseas visitors and groups invited by BAC or by other related organizations;
3.Receive visitors from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan;
4.Receive delegations from other administrative colleges throughout China;
5.Host internationaI seminars and symposiums and invite foreign teachers to Iecture in BAC;
6.Coordinate international cooperation on teaching and scientific research;
7.Hold various international training programs with other countries and regions;
8.Receive visitors to the historical relics of the graveyard of Mateo Ricci and other foreign missionaries during Ming and Qing Dynasties;
9.Implement other affairs dispatched by the College.
