International training

        BAC invites foreign teachers, scholars and official to visit the college, which greatly promotes the globalization of its training and teaching. Over the last 13 years, BAC has received more than 600 groups with over 5,000 overseas visitors. Such academic and cultural exchanges can broaden faculties¡¯ horizons, introduce them the latest trends in international research, and greatly enliven the atmosphere of the campus.

        In order to improve its teaching level, BAC invites overseas scholars, such as Mr.Daisaku Lkeda from Soka University of Japan, to be part-time professors.

        The college holds international academic forums and seminars regularly. Since 1998, BAC has been host series of international academic seminars, inviting famous foreign scholars and experts to lecture on the development of world politics, economics and culture, etc. As of June 2007, it has hosted over 70 speeches and seminars successfully, which rouse high interests among faculty and students.

        BAC continues to develop overseas training programs for public administration. Since 2000, BAC and the University of Georgia have started to collaborate with each other to sponsor the Sino-American joint training program for public Administration. The first stage of this program involves 4 weeks of intensive study and training in China, and followed by a second stage of shot-term training and investigation in the United States. We have completed 8 rounds of this program till now, which has received positive press coverage in Atlanta Constitution, USA; Reference Information, China, and BBC etc.
