On October 25th, a delegation of six
members from RANEPA, led by Natalia Shafenskaya, Director of the International
Cooperation and Development, held a work meeting with our institute.
Vice President Li Yunchi attended the
formal meeting between the two sides. Firstly, Li Yunchi gave a brief
introduction of our institute to the Russian side, and then informed the
Russian side of the progress of cooperation with the two branches under the
General Institute. Our institute has maintained cooperation with the Northwest
Branch for 19 years, and has also cooperated with the Vladimir Branch for
nearly 10 years. We have carried out various forms of cooperation with these
two branches, such as high-level delegation projects, exchange student
projects, guest professor projects, and international scientific research
cooperation projects, and have achieved fruitful academic results.
Director Natalia Shafenskaya introduced the
basic situation of their Academy to us through a video clip, and the
accompanying five members of the delegation put forward specific suggestions
for cooperation between the two sides. Professor Hong Xiaoliang, Director of
the Graduate Department, and Associate Professor Yang Ni, Deputy Director of
the faculty of Public Management, respectively responded positively to the
concerns of the Russian side. The interaction and communication between both
parties are pragmatic and efficient.
Finally, Li Yunchi stated that both sides
have a very mature model in exchange student programs, teacher exchange
programs, research project cooperation, and joint publication of papers, which
can continue to be promoted on the basis of the existing cooperation model. In
addition, both sides also conducted preliminary discussions on the exchange of
high-level leading cadres for foreign-related training.
