The Beijing
Administration Institute (BAI) and the
Vladimir Branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economics and
Public Administration collaborated on a seminar on urban governancein the afternoon of November 3, 2022.
In the opening remarks,Zhang
Jun,vice president of the BAI,reviewed the cooperation
betweenthe BAI and the Vladimir Branch since 2014.Alexander Efimovich Illarionov,vice president
of the Vladimir Branch,emphasized
that the successful academic outcomes attained by both parties would not have
been possible without prolonged efforts. He alsonoted
that the“3+3” studentexchange program was a highlight of the two parties’ collaboration and expressed his commitment to strengthening
the partnership and fostering more academic exchanges.
Professor Dong
Wu, director of Public Administration of the BAI chaired the seminar. Yang Ni, associate
professor and director of Urban
Governance, Public Administration Department of the BAI and Oleg Lazarevich Goyger,associate professor and director of Strategic Development Center of
the Vladimir Branch, made keynote presentations on the lean management of mega-cities
and urban development strategies respectively. Students and teachers from
both institutions also attended the seminar.
