Invited by the North-West Academy of the Public Administration of Russia, Chen Cong, deputy director of Training Division, made an informative and insightful oral presentation of “Civil Servant Training System and Major Practices in Beijing” at the 7th session of St. Petersburg International Labor Forum on behalf of the Beijing Administration Institute.

Chen elaborated on Chinese civil servant training system and shared Beijing’s practices and experience in the training and re-training of public servants with facts and figures. In the Q&A session, he answered a question about how to balance work and training. At the session, Dr. M. K. Vajpayee, vice president of Central university of Jharkhand, delivered a speech on “Personnel Policy in India”, sharing Indian personnel policies in chronological order.

The St. Petersburg International Labor Forum aims to be the largest platform in Russia to discuss issues related to human capital development and to promote integrated decision making which is based on advanced research and global best practices.
