H.E.Mr.Abdulaziz Mohammed Ibrahim, on behalf of Ethiopia Oromia Regional State Leadership Academy (ORSLA), headed a delegation to BAI for a 6-day visit from November 26^th to December 1^st. H.E.Mr. Ibrahim is the vice president of the region and member of directing board of ORSLA. The 6-member delegation included general and deputy general director of ORSLA and heads of several departments.  

BAI Vice president Zhang Jun expressed warm welcome to the delegation. Two sides discussed future cooperation and the plan of 2018. To cater the needs of ORSLA, representatives from major departments of BAI introduced the experience in training, research, consultation, and trainee affairs management.

The delegation also visited the Xicheng District Administrative Service Center for a field teaching hosted by Zhang Ling, an associate professor of public administration of BAI. The visit not only equipped the delegates with the procedures of a field teaching class, but also deepened their understanding of innovative entity and virtual administrative service platform by presenting how the district government perform administrative approval, social management, public service and performance monitoring by building a three-layer administrative services system of district-neighborhood-community.

To help the Ethiopian delegation better understand the training that is targeted for trainees of different levels and categories, BAI invited the delegation to visit Huairou District Administrative Institute and branch party standardized training center. The delegation highly praised the training and the importance of administrative institutes at grassroots levels.

The delegation spent two days at Tianjin and visited Tianjin urban planning exhibition, the Port of Tianjin, Sino-Singapore Eco-City, and Cartoon Industry Park, which impressed them with the exciting coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.

H.E.Mr. Ibrahim said that China has always been a good friend and partner of Ethiopia and Ethiopia is following China’s steps to build a developed, democratic and peaceful country where good governance is fully realized. The visit deepened the mutual understanding and friendship, and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between two sides. It was the first visit since the two sides signed MOU and established partnership. ORSLA invites BAI delegation to Ethiopia in 2018.
