From Nov. 26 to Nov. 30 of 2014, a delegation headed by Mr. Yuan Jifu, BAI college committee member visited Ethiopia. The delegation was invited by Meles Zenawi Leadership Academy of the Ethiopian Peoples’ Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) and was received by H.E. Mr. Legese Tulu, Administrative and Development vice President of the Academy.

BAI held talks with the Academy and its Addis Ababa Center on issues of common concerns, especially on cadre education and training. Legese stressed that his Academy wants to draw lessons in the areas of Curriculum Development, Teaching Methodology and Research from the best experiences of Beijing Administrative College. Both parties agree to boost their bilateral ties through continuous experience sharing and visit as well.

During the visit, BAI delegation members also presented several lectures on development experience of China. In addition, the delegation visited the city government of Addis Ababa and several government agencies.

A MOU was signed between BAI and the Addis Ababa Center of the Academy.
