Delegation from Bangladesh visited BAI

Md Eunusur Rahman, the Additional Secretary of the Public Administration Ministry, led a delegation of 22 members from Bangladesh Civil Service Administration Academy (BCSSA) to visit BAI on June 21st. Chunming Zhou, the committee member of BAI, hosted a reception forum with his colleagues from the department of international cooperation and exchange.


Mr. Zhou briefed on the general information of BAI, with special emphasis on civil servant training and the frequent contact with foreign scholars. He pointed out that BAI has already had connections with institutions from many parts of the world, including the United States, Britain, Germany, France, Sweden, Russia, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Bangladesh, etc. He mentioned specifically that BAI had hold co-training programs with Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center (BPATC) between last April and June, with 222 high-ranking Bangladesh civil servants visited Beijing and took classes in BAI in seven batches. Later, the Bangladesh guests raised a variety of questions on the education and training system of CPC members, the career path of civil servants, the Affirmative Action policies on the selection of civil servants from ethnic minorities and the education system in BAI. Sir Rahman concluded that the discussion help all participants get a clear understanding on the education and training system of Chinese civil servant. He said, ‘there are many similarities and differences between our two countries and we are looking forward to future cooperations’. 


After the forum, the delegation visited the campus and library of BAI.
