Liu Wei, Member of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Deputy Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC, and President of the Beijing Administration Institute (BAI), joined Ding Jinyong, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee, in attending the closing ceremony of a training program for future leaders from Hanoi.

In efforts to deepen the ties between Beijing and Hanoi and promote exchanges in official training, a collaboration agreement was inked between BAI and the Organization Department of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee. As per the pact, BAI will annually conduct training programs for Hanoi officials earmarked for future director-general positions from 2023 to 2025.

This session marks the inception of a three-year initiative and BAI’sfirst overseas training program since 2022. The program received acclaim from the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Beijing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, and international counterparts.

Looking ahead, BAI commits to enhancing the quality of overseas training over the next two years, fostering amicable exchanges between Beijing and Hanoi and bolstering thefriendship between the Chinese and Vietnamese parties and peoples.
