A BPATC Delegation headed byDr. M Aslam Alamvisited BAI from April 21 to April 27.Dr. M Aslam Alamis Senior Secretary to the Government of the People’s Republic of
Bangladesh and the president of BPATC.
BAI Executive Vice-President Wang Minzhong expressed
warm welcome to the delegation and Vice president Zhang Jun hosted a meeting,
discussing future cooperation between the two sides. Agreement has been reached
on carrying out cooperation in a number of forms, including mutual visits,
joint research and scholar exchange. The two sides also exchanged ideas and experiences
on civil servant training, scientific research and policy counseling. After the
meeting, the delegation visited the infrastructure on the campus, including the
library, the comprehensive building and the auditorium.
The delegation also visited Xinhua 1949 International
Creative Design Industrial Park to learn the status-quo of creative culture in
Beijing.
The delegation visited Xi’an, where they went to the
Terri-Cotta Warriors, the statutes of silk road at Kaiyuan Gate, and the
hi-tech development zone to know about the history and culture of Xi’an and the
modern manufacturing industry of the city.
Since the establishment of bi-lateral relations between BAI and BPATC, fruitful achievements have been made. This visit helped enhance
mutual understanding, laying solid foundation for future cooperation.
