Slovenian Ambassador Alenka Suhadolnik led adelegation of 26 members from the Slovenian and Italian Embassy in China and scholars attending the seminar Western Talents Working for the Qianlong Emperor: Scientists, Architects and Artists visited the historic Matteo Ricci and Foreign Missionaries’ Cemetery, nestled within the campus of Beijing Administration Institute. Li Yunchi, the Deputy President of Beijing Administration Institute, welcomed the delegation.

Serving as the tour guide, Associate Professor Chen Xinyu shed light on the remarkable achievements of influential figures and introduced the cemetery’s rich history and the preservation of cultural heritage.

The visit served as the shared appreciation for the historical significance of Matteo Ricci and the foreign missionaries buried at the cemetery and common cherishment for friendship.
